Cabernet Sauvignon

Blend – 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Malbec
Aging – 100% barrel-aged in 71% French oak, 29% American oak, 57% new.

Tasting Notes – This Cab Sav has aromas of black cherry pie, tanned leather, Christmas pudding, and toasted oak. The midpalate showcases a wonderful velvety texture with flavors of dried currants, black cherries, roasted coffee beans, tanned leather and a little spice on the finish. Drinking wonderfully right now, there are still several years of age-ability.

Tasting Notes – Wonderful evolved aromas of spice and leather yield to deeper notes of blackberries, black cherries and black currants in this delicious Cabernet Sauvignon wine.. The midpalate showcases a wonderful velvety texture with flavors of dried currants, hints of vanilla, cherries, coffee cake, tanned leather, and a spicy finish. Amazingly young right now, there are still several years of age-ability.

Tasting Notes – Wonderful richness and elegance from front to back, this dry red wine has layers of black currant and black cherry overlaid upon toasted bread, dark chocolate, molasses, coffee. Finishes hold notes of dried berries and spices. While this is drinking wonderfully right now, there are still several years of age-ability.

Tasting Notes – A little bigger structure-wise than some of our other Cab Sav vintages, this bold red is concentrated from start to finish. This wine has layers of toasted bread, black cherry, and black currant interspersed with nutmeg, allspice, molasses, espresso. It finishes with notes of dried berries and spices. Drinking wonderfully right now, there are still several years of age-ability.

Tasting Notes – This dry red wine is more elegant and finessed compared to the structure of the Red Mountain blend, rounded mouthfeel exhibiting black berry & black cherry, with accents of pomegranate, vanilla, baking spice & mocha.

Tasting Notes – This red wine is rich in a dense character full of black currants, blackberry, and moderate tannins producing a significant impact on the mouthfeel, a long lingering finish with cocoa, coffee, and baking spice.

Tasting Notes – More fruit-driven than the 2003 from a warmer vintage, this full-bodied red wine offers loads of plum and blackberries, accented with wonderful notes of baking spices.

Tasting Notes – Still holding on to the fresh fruit profile of black cherry, blackberry, and pomegranate, this full-bodied dry red wine also presents some nice vanilla and mocha which compliment the fruit.

Tasting Notes – With a slightly higher level of Grenache, this red wine has more red fruit impact of raspberries and strawberries, with a slight cranberry. It is still framed, though, by the darker fruits of the Syrah grape, blackberry, and plum.

Tasting Notes – Slight departure from recent vintages with no Grenache, and a splash of Barbera, this full-bodied wine is highlighted with a richness and concentration that belies its age. It is framed by the darker fruits of the Syrah grape, plum, and blackberry, and to a lesser degree black cherry and pomegranate, it also brings slight black pepper spice and grilled meat notes.
